What is APR?

Annual percentage rate (APR) is defined as the interest rate for a whole year (annualized), or interest rate annually, rather than just monthly. It is a finance charge expressed as an annual rate. An APR can be calculated in a variety of ways including adding in fees and charges, or leaving them out, depending on the company. As a result, the APR is not a very effective way to compare loans. Most installment loan providers will calculate APR to include all fees and charges, so you know the total cost of your loan up front.

What happens if I miss or cannot make my payment?

Failing to pay a payment in full or missing a payment can incur extra fees, penalties, and interest. It is very important you pay your loan payments in full and on time to avoid increasing the costs of your loan.
